When April shared the devastating news of her ALS diagnosis I responded that she "Has an Army of Love Soldiers supporting her." When she realized using that moniker was a way for her to take back power of the letters ALS, April's Love Soldiers was born. I wanted to highlight the soldier aspect and have something tangible we all could wear to show our support. So (having never used a metal stamper before!) I made some dog tags to give out at her birthday party that year. They were an immediate hit and we were bombarded with requests for more. Our incredible friend Serena Weddle picked up the charge and has been hand hammering more than 500 tags thus far. Serena covers the material and labor costs on her own and we donate all of the money raised through purchasing the tags to April. 

The tags have been spotted all over the world and the photos April's Soldiers share of their tags are a testament to just how far reaching her love stretches. As April says, "Spread The Love!"
